I got this very interesting hint from Colin and want to share it with our readers as it is a cost effective, healthy and easy way of sorting out mosquitoes.

1.     Take a 2lt plastic colddrink bottle and cut it in half, keeping both parts

2.     Take the lower portion of the bottle and dissolve the brown sugar (not too much, about ¼ cup in hot water (not boiling), and let cool down to 22-25°C (room temperature)

3.     Add yeast to the mixture (carbon dioxide will form which attracts the mosquitoes)

4.     Cover the lower part with a dark wrap of either black paper or even a black plastic bag and insert the top portion upside down like a funnel. Place in a corner in your house.

In two weeks you will be surprised by the number of mosquitoes killed
