Inspiration:
In 2000, as a family, we were all sitting in the lounge, enjoying a quiet Sunday afternoon, with my granddaugther playing around on the carpet. My son-in-law, who had only a few months before given his heart to the Lord, wanted to know why we needed to be baptised in water again after being baptised as babies. I started ministering to him from God's Word and soon Colin and my daughter realised that we were discussing very deep things, so they left the lounge to go and make coffee. About 30 min later, we were still chatting about the Biblical reasons for baptism, when they came back to the lounge with the coffee. My daughter, casually mentioned that somebody should write a book about the rebirth, the various baptisms and all that involves walking with Jesus. I suggested that we look for a book in the bookshops to help and she said, 'No Mom, somebody with their feet flat on the ground needs to share their heart about this issue so that ordinary people like us can understand it.' She turned to me and asked 'Mom, why don't you write the book?' Horrified, I said, 'I haven't written anything other than short articles for our congregation's monthly newsletter and will not even know where to start!' Colin piped in, 'Kath, with your Bible School training you should be able to do it with ease.' We left it at that and continued chatting about all sorts, and they eventually left! Well, the next morning, I went to sit behind my laptop and said, 'Lord, if You want me to write this book, then You need to give me the words!' My prayer was hardly out when words started coming to mind and my fingers were flying over the keyboard with pages and pages of information coming to life before my very eyes! A week later the draft copy of the first book was ready for proofreading, editing and eventually publsihing, but what about a cover? We had a brother in the Lord who owned a printing works, and he offered to do the cover so I quickly designed a cover, sent it to them for typesetting and finalising of the design. They sent the cover for proofing, we agreed on the final design and the cover was printed soon afterwards. Today, nine years later, with a computer crash inbetween and months of coming to grips with having lost all 12 books that I had written up to 2003, we left Botswana, where we had been doing mission work since 2001, to move to South Africa and then on to Swaziland. During our stay in Botswana, Pula Press took over two of my books, published them and are still distributing them in Botswana. It was in Swaziland that we met a man who was to become key person in getting my next book, 'Obedience, an Option or a Commandment' published. All we can say is, 'Praise God', not only for a brother who believed that the book should be published, but that the Lord has thought the book worth being published in the first place. We trust that you will be blessed reading any or all of the books written to date and that you will continue to pray for the books to touch the lives of many, many people!

Obedience, an Option or a Commandment?
[/caption] As the Body of Christ Jesus, we so easily get caught up in thinking that because we are born again we are okay, don't have to constantly guard what we do and how we do it, never have to worry about obeying God's Word and Will for us as we are covered with the blood and anything we do is immediately forgiven, but … Are the lives we live a witness to God's love and ability to change a life completely, or are they exactly similar to that of the world around us? Can people see that we have been consecrated, separated, justified and made righteous through His Son's finished work on the Cross? Isn't that why people do not believe us when we share God's Word with them and encourage them to come to Jesus.
Can Rebellion be Justified? (book is in the process of being finalized for publication)
[caption id="attachment_143" align="alignleft" width="146" caption="Can Rebellion be Justified?"]This book was written specifically for the youth of today, but also for the rest of God's children who so easily claim that "There is nothing wrong with a little rebellion!" and "God understands if we are rebellious!", but does He really ….? Doesn't He demand that we "be holy as I am holy" and "be perfect as I am perfect"? Come on Church, we are called to obey, surrender and conform to God's Word and Will for our lives in EVERY aspect of our lives, not to follow after the ways of the world …
Born Again? Where to Now? (Still to be published)
A book that was originally written for the benefit of my son-in-law, but which can be given to anybody who is on the verge of becoming born again or who has made that first step, but does not know how to continue from there! It covers the rebirth, water baptism, Holy Spirit batptism and walking the walk with Jesus now on your side, and the Holy Spirti inside!
A great thank you to all who have bought any of the books I have had the honour to write or have sent me encouraging words to continue putting pen to paper sharing my heart with friends, family and the world out there. May the Lord Jesus bless you greatly!
